Hedging
Hedging involves taking an equivalent risk position on the futures market but in the opposite sense to the one held on the spot market. An operator indulges in a hedging activity to reduce the degree of risk.

Possible on the trading floor, this kind of order makes it possible to establish a constant selling or buying position for a quantity of securities that does not appear in the context of book-building. This technique makes it possible to deal with an important order without affecting prices in one way or another.
Highest
Highest exchange rate for a security over a period.
Holding
Company with a sizeable stake in one or more companies. It is supposed to take part in their management.
